Empowering the Next Generation of XR Creators
Seattle Interactive Media-Lab (SiM), in partnership with AGOG, is launching the Virtual Dreams Future XR Creators Program, a free 12-week, 6-event series designed to empower underrepresented youth and communities in XR.
Through mentorship, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects, participants will:
Learn XR development tools
Build immersive worlds
Connect with industry professionals
Build community with their peers
What is Virtual Dreams?
Virtual Dreams is a structured program where students dive into Augmented & Virtual Reality. Each full-day session combines guided workshops, team-based project work, and mentorship from local XR professionals. The program builds toward a final public showcase where participants present their completed projects to peers, family, and industry guests.
Program Flow

Crash course in Unity and AR/XR tools. Students build a shared starter project together, developing confidence and essential skills in game design, art, code, and collaboration.
